How to Make Beef and Noodle Casserole

This beef and noodle casserole recipe is ground beef in a rich tomato sauce, tossed with egg noodles then topped with plenty of cheese and baked to perfection. An easy comfort food dinner that’s perfect for feeding a crowd.
- Egg noodles 4 oz
- Olive Oil ½ tbsp
- Ground Beef ½ lb
- Garlic Salt ⅛ tbsp
- Salt ½ dash
- Tomato sauce 1 cup
- Sour Cream ⅓ cup
- Cottage cheese ½ cup
- Black Pepper ½ dash
- Scallions ¼ cup
- Cheddar Cheese ½ cup
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Add tomato sauce to the beef and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Rinse with cold water and drain.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef with garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, cottage cheese, and scallions. Combine with the meat mixture.
- Place noodles and meat mixture in a greased 9×13- inch baking pan. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes and serve.
