  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Add tomato sauce to the beef and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Rinse with cold water and drain.
  • In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef with garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, cottage cheese, and scallions. Combine with the meat mixture.
  • Place noodles and meat mixture in a greased 9×13- inch baking pan. Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes and serve.
